Because zinc adds thickness, threads on galvanised fasteners are cut or tapped to allow for the coating. If your assembly has a tight fit or a specific torque requirement, tell us and we will confirm the correct combination.
The strongest value we offer in fasteners is not commodity bolts, where local distributors already buy well, but the awkward items: long or oversized bolts, shouldered and stepped studs, non-standard head forms, u-bolts to a specific radius, foundation bolt assemblies, and parts that combine machining with threading. These are typically expensive and slow to obtain in small local quantities, and are a good fit for drawing-driven manufacture.
Fasteners ship in high volumes, so inspection is by lot to an agreed sampling plan, normally AQL-based, rather than piece by piece. We are deliberately clear about this because 100% inspection of bulk hardware is not realistic and we would rather set the right expectation. A typical inspection report records:
Bulk fasteners are supplied in cartons or kegs with clear labelling: part number, size, grade, coating, quantity, batch and your own item code if you use one. Where fasteners feed a production line we can pack to your kit quantities so items arrive ready to issue rather than needing to be counted and re-boxed.

Yes. Class 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9 fasteners are supplied with mill test certificates covering chemistry and mechanical properties, with batch traceability where required.
Yes, and this is usually where the best value sits. Non-standard bolts, shouldered studs, u-bolts, foundation bolts and machined specials are made to drawing.
