Getting started

How to request a quote

The more detail you send, the faster and sharper our pricing. Use this page as a checklist before you contact us. If you only have a sample or a photo, send that anyway and we will work out the rest with you.

Step 1

What to send us

Six details cover almost every enquiry. Items marked essential are the minimum we need to price your part.

๐Ÿ“

Drawing or sample Essential

A 2D drawing (PDF or DWG), a 3D model (STEP or IGES), a sketch with dimensions, or a photo of the existing part with a tape measure for scale.

๐Ÿ”ข

Quantity Essential

Order quantity and expected annual usage. Tell us if it is a one-off trial, a first production run, or a recurring schedule, as this changes tooling and price.

๐Ÿชจ

Material & grade Essential

For example mild steel, EN8, EN19, 304 or 316 stainless, cast iron, aluminium or a specific alloy. If you are unsure, tell us the application and we will advise.

๐ŸŽฏ

Tolerances & critical features

Which dimensions are critical, surface finish requirements, and any features that must be held tightly. This avoids over-engineering and unnecessary cost.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

Finish & treatment

Hot-dip galvanising, zinc plating, powder coat, painting, heat treatment, black oxide, or machined bright. Include colour or coating thickness if it matters.

๐Ÿ“…

Delivery & destination

Target delivery date and the delivery suburb or port. Let us know if you need sea or air freight, and whether you want it delivered to your door.
