Truck and trailer work is high mix and reasonably high volume, which is exactly where Australian labour cost bites hardest. A bracket that takes eight minutes of cutting, forming and deburring costs what the labour costs, and that gap does not close.
The parts worth moving are the ones you make in hundreds, where the drawing is settled and the design is not going to change next quarter. The parts to keep local are prototypes, one-offs and anything you need on Thursday. We will say which is which rather than quote everything.
We are based in Victoria and deliver across Melbourne and regional Victoria, with the same service to trailer and truck body builders in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia. Delivery is to your factory door with freight and customs already handled.

For laser cut and formed parts the economics usually work from a few hundred pieces a year upward, because the saving is in labour rather than material. Below that a local jobbing shop is often better and we will tell you so.
If you have the drawing, yes. If you only have a sample, send it and we will produce a drawing for your approval before manufacturing, so you sign off the geometry rather than finding a difference when the container lands.

We hold your drawings and an agreed buffer quantity in Australia against a rolling forecast, so you call off from local stock rather than waiting on a container.
Inspection happens before dispatch, to an agreed plan. Where something still gets through we manage the rework, replacement or credit with the manufacturer. On your first order we cover the third-party inspection cost.
